The Driveshaft Shop has recently announced the availability of their new carbon fiber driveshaft for the 2005-2010 Mustang GT. Part #PDSH9-C-CV1, the lightweight 3.25-inch one-piece driveshaft has been specially developed to be the lightest and strongest on the market and to deal with the harmonic vibrations normally associated with aftermarket driveshafts for the Mustang. Featured on the carbon fiber driveshaft is a 1350 front u-joint to mount up to the transmission, a custom modified 180mm CV with a 300M spline and a conversion plate. The driveshaft is rated at 900 horsepower and is balanced in-house.
Pricing for the carbon fiber driveshaft is listed at $1,249.99, and each comes with a 1-year warranty. The Driveshaft Shop also makes a carbon fiber driveshaft for the 2007-current Shelby GT500 and an aluminum driveshaft for the 2011+ Mustang.
