Want to add some serious stopping power to your pony car? Look no further than Ford Racing’s 15-inch brake upgrade for the 2005-2014 Mustang GT and 2012-2013 Mustang Boss 302. The same brake system found on the 2013+ Shelby GT500, the kit includes front 15-inch Brembo vented rotors with 6-piston aluminum calipers and rear 13.8-inch Brembo vented rotors with single-piston calipers. The package also includes front brake hoses, front and rear brake pads, front tie-rod heat shields and all necessary installation hardware.
Since the front brakes are quite a bit larger than stock, a specific wheel with enough clearance for the calipers is required. Ford Racing has several recommendations (listed below), or you can also find one on your own with the required clearance.
