Accufab has announced a new 85mm throttle body that provides a 32 percent increase in air flow to the 2011+ Mustang 5.0 and Boss 302 intake manifold compared to the stock unit. Made in the USA from the highest quality parts, the throttle body is CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with the exterior polished for a show-quality finish.* The shafts are also CNC machined from stainless steel for durability and quality, with brass blades and the highest quality bearings and screws. Each throttle body also includes the necessary mounting screws, and there are no adapters or modifications required as the throttle body is pre-calibrated at Accufab prior to shipment.
While the Accufab throttle body is*specifically designed for use on the 2011+ Ford Mustang GT and Boss 302, the inlet opening on the throttle body measures 4.00-inches (OD) in diameter and requires a step-hose down to 3.50-inches (OD) when used with the stock air inlet tube. Most aftermarket “cold air kits” measure 4.00-inches (OD) and should fit perfectly.
