Theyre is enough room for the motor, but with any custom motor swap you'll need to factor in money for the motor/trans, wiring harness, new exhaust brackets and accessories and motor mounts. I'm sure in a few months a few companies will have the whole kit but I think your biggest problem will be getting a motor unless you can afford to crack open the ford racing catalog and buy one new. Please don't take all this negative talk to slow down your thoughts about it, because it would be an awesome job and a unique ride. I put in a 3v and 6 speed in my 64 stepside F100 and I get tons of looks at car shows whe they peak under the hood. I just bought a wrecked stang and took everything I needed and it saved me a lot of money. But the whole swap still took longer than i thought but in the long run it was worth every minute. If you want pics of my swap for something to look at what youre diving into let me know.
