My '91 GT Restoration Thread

One thing I promised Jen was that I would start a thread dedicated to the restoration of her old '91 Mustang GT.
The car is in exceptional mechanical condition but I plan on making it even more pristine as time goes on. The car needs paint ans a new sunroof along with weatherstrip and a hatch striker bolt for the latch. I have already started shopping for parts through Late Model Restoration to get the parts I need to make this car showroom new. I am contemplating adding a 2000 Cobra R style hood as well but am still undecided. I will also be spending alot of time cleaning under the hood and detailing to make this part of the car more appealing to the eye. I will post pics of this car and the problem areas in the near future so stay tuned... :awesomework:

Yep. It was a long search that ended yesterday evening. In all honesty, I had pretty much made up my mind after looking at Jen's GT Friday evening. Her car just seems "right" for me and I am 100% happy to have found her car. I'm looking forward to bringing the car back to showroom condition. It's going to be fun and an experience I'm looking forward to!

A quick update. I picked up a good sunroof for my GT this past weekend and that has been swapped out. I also picked up a Cervini's hood with a Shaker/Cobra Jet scoop that will be fully funtional. I was looking for a different look and something that went back to the roots of the nameplate and this hood fits the bill perfectly. More parts are coming in the very near future so stay tuned. :)
