The Ford Mustang continues to garner awards from the automotive press, the latest of which comes from MSN Autos who named the 2012 Mustang GT as the car with the “best bang for the buck”. With a base price of $29,310 and 412 horsepower, the Mustang GT has a $/HP ratio of 71.14, beating out the likes of the Chevrolet Camaro SS ($74.77 /HP), Dodge Challenger R/T ($79.77/HP), Dodge Charger R/T ($81.07 /hp) and more.
The web site heaped praise on the Mustang, saying that “Ford has fine-tuned this car to near perfection” and that “dynamically, the Mustang is a joy to drive on both road and track.” They also praise the 5.0-liter V8, stating that it “gives awesome acceleration”.
