Just installed steeda lowering springs

I just installed steeda lowering springs in my 93, they say they will lower 1-1.25 so far its 3/4 but i heard once the springs settle i might get more. My question is ive been reading and some people are saying if you only lower the car a inch you shouldnt need a alignment. Just wondering what eveyone elses thoughts are that experienced this. I dont have a disposable income and at 70$ for a alignment if i dont need would be nice. Thanks:smash:

I'm not sure.... I have yet to do springs in mine. If it drives straight with no problems, I wouldn't see why you would need another alignment. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Not so much the alignment driving straight thing but more the camber.

Under an inch I'd say you may be fine but you really should get it aligned with the Steeda springs.

gotta look at what the cost of new tires will be if the camber wears them out. If you don't drive it a ton maybe it could wait but if you're using it as a daily driver it might be a good idea.

yea its not worth gambling on my new tires i put on. Im just going to bite the bullet and spend the money to have it done thanks guys

I recommend waiting about a week and driving it a couple hundred miles before aligning it though! Ive seen cars settle an additional half inch before

Went to get the car aligned and it they couldnt get it to factory specs. So do i need to buy camber plates for 200 or has anyone used the cheap alternative which is camber bolts for 30$ Help:smash:

That sucks, I forgot about guys having to get the cc plates for lowered rides because they can't align them back.

i second that..sometimes the car needs some time to adjust it self..then u can fiddle around............

Anything more than the FRPP B springs and you almost always need caster camber plates. BUT, also make sure the struts and strut bushings are in good shape as well along with the isolators.
