.....been a GM guy my whole life, but I got bored and last the taxpayer bailout money GM took didnt sit well with me LOL. So........ I'm building a 1993 Mustang LX hatchback. Gonna be a 5.0/5speed machine w custom paint, interior and all. I have some done, like the heads rebuilt and the stock 10-hole wheels custom painted and polished. Also have the nose bodyworked and primered. oh and btw.......my wife and I recently traded in our '07 Grand Prix for a 2010 Ford Fusion AWD Sport! and I sold off my '98 Cadillac so the Blue Ovals are invading my life! Anyway, just wanted to say hello for the first time, and I will post build pics as I proceed! Bill

Welcome to NYM and goodluck on your build. Don't hesitate to ask for help here. And if you're lucky and have a member from nym that live around you, I'm sure they will help out. :)

Welcome. I too had been a GM person for MANY years. My brother worked for their steering division so I got the employee discount. Then I started to look for a classic and found my way to the Mustang; just something about it...
Bought a '09 Malibu and then drove a Fusion Sport at a Barrett Jackson auction and like it. Already didn't like my Malibu (which was only a couple months old) and the Fusion didn't help that :) But with the discount and lease turn in money, I couldn't beat the Malibu's price. After a year I said screw it and bought the new Mustang. Costing me more a month, but I am SO much more happy. Now when I look at cars, I'm looking at Fords. So I know where you are coming from.
