Has Anybody Ever cut There cat out and welded 2 pipes back on i was thinking of doing that for now and maybe later on buy long tubes and h pipe to match.

Lol, we're kidding, yeah in the long run it's better off just to get an O/R mid pipe, because if you hack up the stocker you're kind of screwed come inspection time.

Agreed. ive been slowly becoming more and more familiar with exhaust setups and the law in the past few days lol, 1990_LX can attest to that

ima give u the advice he and many others gave me. any setup with no cats = illegal and fails inspection. if ur going the no cat route, keep ur stock midpipe and throw it on for inspection and u'll be fine...

Looking at the stock set up, it looks like the flanges on the cats are angled a little bit. You would have to make sure the new pieces are at the same angle. Just an observation. I am doing a little exhaust work this week myself, hope it works out for the both of us.
