If you have been reading my monthly Mustang sales reports you know the Ford Mustang is not having a good year sales wise even after the much talked about redesign of the 2010 Mustang. The redesign for 2010 was Ford's response to the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro being introduced and from what we have seen so far it has failed miserably given the Camaro has outsold the Mustang four straight months. No other time in history has the Camaro ever outsold the Mustang four straight months. Not wanting to just sit back and take the shots Ford is now offering new incentives and special financing deals for the 2010 Ford Mustang. The best deal going now is Ford is offering 0% APR financing for 36 months ( 2.9% for 48, 3.9% for 60 & 5.9% for 72 months) and $1,000 cash back for the Mustang V-6 and GT excluding the Shelby GT500. This cash back and financing offers are good till November 2nd so act quick to take advantage. Could we see even more cash back or longer 0% financing rates, maybe so but don't wait thinking it's coming. Below are a couple of what if examples for the 2010 Mustang GT with no taxes or extra fees factored in.
Example 1 - base 2010 Mustang GT MSRP - $27,750 + $1000 cash back and 0% for 36 months financing. Your payment would be $743.05.
Example 2 - base 2010 Mustang GT MSRP - $27,750 + $1000 cash back and 2.9% for 48 months financing. Your payment would be $590.91.
Example 3 - base 2010 Mustang GT MSRP - $27,750 + $1000 cash back and 3.9% for 60 months financing. Your payment would be $491.43.
Example 4 - base 2010 Mustang GT MSRP - $27,750 + $1000 cash back and 5.9% for 72 months financing. Your payment would be $442..06.
