Up for sale is a late 80s 302 motor that is in my 1966 mustang. This motor has been bored out .030 over making it a 306. I’m not sure what brand pistons are in this motor but i do know that they are not forged pistons. The bottom end has around 7,000 miles on it making it a pretty fresh motor. About 3,000 miles ago i put on a set of brand new Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Heads and put a set of Comp Cams Ultra Gold Aluminum rocker arms on. At the same time I put in a Comp Cams Cam in the motor. The cam is a hydraulic roller cam and the part # is 35-440-8. The cam has 512 lift on intake and exhaust with 220 duration @ .050. the heads are 170 trick flows with a 2.02 intake and 1.6 exhaust and 61cc combustion chamber. The intake that is on this motor is an Edlebrock performer rpm. And the carb is a demon 650cfm. Also what’s included is a MSD distributer. I am looking to sell the motor from the carb to the pan as a complete motor. What is NOT included is the clutch/flywheel and pulleys on the motor, alternator, and headers. Over the summer the car was on a dyno and was tuned. The motor made 300hp at the wheels so making it around 360- 375hp at the crank and the motor still has some more left in it. This motor should easily put a mustang into the mid/high 12s. I am looking to get $2,200 or best offer. As of right now the motor is still in the car and is running still. i will try and get a video of it running up real soon along with more pics. The motor is located in Walden NY.
