Selling two Garret/AirResearch turbos, both need a rebuild and one needs a new compressor wheel. Good turbos to start a DIY twin setup or replacements for a beater. Both were off a 740 series Volvo. One has a .52A/R compressor housing with a .48A/R exhaust housing and the other has a .42A/R compressor with the same exchaust housing and it's wheels are in perfect shape. Both have little side to side or front/back shaft play and spin freely. They are water/oil cooled and have internal waste gates. The turbo with the .52 compressor will need a new compressor wheel as some of the fins are bent. But overall, with a good cleanup and a rebuild, they should be really nice turbos. I was going to use them to build a twin turbo motor for my Mustang, but kind of need the money to finish my stroker motor. I also have the exhaust manifold for one of them and both of the stock wastegates that I will include. I'm willing to separate, $100 for the good turbo and $75 for the bad one or $150 for both.
