It’s not too rare to see an Iacocca 45th Anniversary Edition Mustang pop up for sale on eBay – we even featured one being offered by truTV’s Hardcore Pawn – but this particular example is even more special. According to the seller it’s just one of three black Iacocca Mustangs built, and one of only two with the glass roof option. With the exception of a single Iacocca Mustang painted a stunning Candy Apple Red, the remaining 41 cars were all painted silver.
Does that make this particular Iacocca Mustang more valuable? The seller, based out of Woodbridge, Virginia,* thinks so and has a $180,000 “Buy It Now” option for the car. That’s about $80,000 more than the original price tag, even with the optional Ford Racing supercharger system under the hood. Also helping to boost the car’s appeal is an odometer reading of less than 500 miles, and all the original paperwork including the certificate of authenticity will come with the car.
