no i drive to Valhalla from the Bronx at 80 mph for 22 miles rocks wont really hit the front they hit more on the roof they are kicked up by people who try to squeeze in front of me

Well...my shelby has only 1000 miles...no rock chips so far....read that the key is not to tailgate...which I can be guilty of sometimes....with my other car...lol...try to stay away from trucks and road construction with the new car...we'll see....

the highway can be empty and they still fell the need to cross 5 ft in front of me i dont tail gate i switch lanes well ahead of time to avoid that shit

We usually clear a lot of exotics at the shop (Lambos, Ferrari, Porsche) and I admit, I clear everything I own, including my motorcycles and even my Prius. It definitely makes a huge difference if you want to keep your car mint, or plan on keeping it for a few years and want the resale value. I've never had a customer complain that they didn't like it. On some panels, you can see a fine line where the clear starts, but most people don't even notice it. Not on bumper kits anyways. I sometimes do a 4" strip on my own cars on the hood. I hate NYC rock chips on my hood! You can see the film line there, but I usually run a Qtip on the line after waxing to remove buildup.
