Hi,does anyone know a good shop that could do a shorty install on an 06 gt. I don't think it would be woth the loss of blood to try to do it on stands in my garage. Whats the normal cost for somthing like this? Thanks, oh yeah I'm in Rochester ny

I have heard of some shops charging upwards of $500 to install.

I did mine on jackstands lying on my back. Took roughly 5-6hrs. Not a bad job at all, not something I want to do on a daily basis, but not as hard as most seem to make it out to be.

I had my ford dealer do it the cost was 600.00. I could have done it but was to lazy. But if you do the shorty tuned like I had done its a pain but not to bad to do. If, I buy something for my car and its a ford racing product. I let the dealer do it you give you a 1yr warranty for the part and install.They did my gears and Hot rod cams and clutch work.
