95 gt dipstick holder

I noticed on my fathers 95 that the oil dipstick is just floating. I know I can fab up a bracket, but needed to see the right way.

Anyone have a pic of the dipstick mount to the block??

No idea!!! It has the tab, but it's bent over and the end is missing. I might just drill a whole and mount it to the valve cover bolt.

He is trying to make the chocks cruise on sat, so I might just fab something up tonight.
Waiting for his plates to come from Florida.

By the header bolt?? I thought so at first, but then looked at where the bent strap is. Ok thanks Waldo, I will do that this week. With any luck, the car will be at the chicks cruise on sat. Just ordered a rock crusher shifter, the stock location is really far for my short arms.

Yes, that particular hole (where the dipstick attaches), uses a stud/bolt
looks like this

this is not it but just to give you and idea of what It looks like. It bolts the header to the head and then you have to get a nut to attach the dipstick.

that looks like a 3/8 -16. i have those. I still have some tinkering to do, it's running rich.
