I'm restoring my '85 Capri back to original as this motor is a bit too radical and I dont want to twist up the car or
Add a roll bar to it. I ran crappy tires on purpose to avoid it hooking up!
I have a ton of Cleveland parts and blocks.
In the car is a currently running motor you can hear run and drive.
The Complete running motor is:
1970 4 bolt main block
.30 over
10:1 comp (runs great on pump gas) aftermarket pistons
Cam is a competition cams (about .600 lift and about 230-240 duration) I have the specs written down at home.
Stock crank with chamfered oiler holes
Shot peened rods
I went through it (bearings, rings, etc) about 2 years ago and have literally not driven it more than 100 miles.
Moroso Fox style pan (to fit in the mustangs)
28oz balanced flywheel (302 uses a different one 50oz I think) less than 200 miles on it
Holley strip dominator single four barrel intake (I have the tunnel ram too)
1970 4-barrel heads quench chamber hi-compr style - 2angle valve job on them with stainless valves, chambers are all chamfered and the ports were all massaged. New springs & setup for over .650 lift
Full roller rocker setup (comp) and have the rocker girdles on them
The motor makes about 475-500 hp at the flywheel
Brand new Mallory slimline distributor (needed it to clear the tunnel ram)
JET-hot coated hedman headers for fox swap (these were $600 alone)
Nice aluminum motorsport valve covers
Motor is still in car, can hear run & drive. Car was never raced with this setup and I ran only a 6000 rpm chip in my msd box but motor is more than capable of 7500rpm pulls.
Other stuff I have that'll go with it:
3 blocks (one 4bolt main, two-2bolt main - 4bolt main has a sleeve in the one cylinder)
All 4 blocks have been Cleaned, sonic checked and bead blasted. The two bolt main blocks have never been bored.
Extra lunati cam -strip grind, very aggressive.
Extra set of 4V heads same style as the ones on the motor
Weiand tunnel ram with two brand new Holley 390cfm four barrels & linkage
Stock style four barrel intake
Extra distributor either a Mallory or MSD, cant remember.
Would like to get about $3900 for everything - may seperate some but would like it all gone at once.
