The Mustang continues to rack up awards as fast as magazines and web sites can hand them out. The latest comes from Autobytel.com, who named the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 as their ’2012 Sports Car of the Year’. The Boss 302 beat out fellow finalists like the* Nissan GT-R and Porsche 911, thanks to the adjustable suspension system, “beastly” 5.0-liter V8 and Recaro seats. “Ford is taking its Mustang line-up back to the future with a no-apologies sport-performance heritage model,” the web site say about the Boss 302. “It’s not an ‘Apprentice.’ It’s not a ‘Manager.’ It’s the Boss. Finally, Autobytel loves the price tag, because “at an MSRP of just about $40,000.00, the sports car dream just became attainable.”
