2000 Automatic Shift Indicator?

So the other day my shift indicator stopped working right. It just always stays in the park position. I think it's just a plastic piece that slides. Could someone take a pic of how it's supposed to look on the undeside so I can figure out where to pop it back in and hook it back up. and maybe to compare to make sure nothing broke off.

I have the same problem, well, a little worse. My orange thingy broke off completely i found it ripped under the shifter. You gotta glue that little piece there, if you take off the bottom part of the center console ( next to the shifter ) you`ll see it.

* Be careful with the cap covering the base of the shifter, it`s pretty fragile.


How i know: I took mine off yesterday to try and fix it . And change the light color for experimentation purposes.
