Can't seem to find a thread for Watkins Glen Opening weekend 2017, is there going to be a NYM gathering this year? Calendar page won't progress past Jan 2017. This years dates are 4/8-4/9, a bit earlier this year.

I don't think it's a traffic/weather cam. Those are typically mounted on a pole off the side of the road, similar to the angle in the image. These new ones (multiple) along with large sensors in the road and mounted to the bridge. There's also more sensors down the road that overhang the right...

Over the last two weeks there has been what appears to be a bunch of sensors and cameras installed on the bridge that goes over I87 just before exit 9 going north facing the roadway. Looks to be road sensors as well. Anyone know what this is for? Traffic cam? Speed Cam? No mention in the news...
