This might help a little bit Jeff. Changing a Fox Mustang from a Four Cylinder to a V-8 - 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords Magazine According to them, the radiators are the same, but the 4 banger has a different shroud and uses an e- fan.

I believe that you can't use them with fuel injected applications because of the noise with the gear drives, it can interfere with the knock sensor and it will retard the timing because it will think the engine is detonating.
