Personally, I'd get a Weiand Stealth intake, pulleys, then get the timing/fuel dialed in 100%. If that carb is not tuned correctly and the timing is not optimal you are losing alot of power right there.

Yep, rockers will bring the lift from .444 to .472, for small performance increase. Really with stock untouched heads a camshaft change is NOT a good bang for the buck mod. It would be one of the LAST things I'd change. The 1.7 rockers may not even bring much of a power difference either...

The TT inline 6 makes alot of power down low, and more AVERAGE power than higher HP cars.

So more than likely it is a stock cam, I've heard the "mild cam" story from people selling cars and it usually ends up being a stock one. A better intake would be a Weiand Stealth, some pulleys will pick you up some power, maybe around 15hp.

For around 10-12hp 1.7 rockers and it is alot easier than swapping a cam. What are all the mods you have now? Do you have a Performer or Performer RPM?

I'm guessing with that high of lift it is probably a solid lifter cam. You need a roller cam and nothing that large. With your mods, you do not need a different cam if looking for performance.

$500 less the EFI stuff, no a huge drop but I am lacking the time to mess with it..prefer to leave it as is...
