I want to convert the rear drum brakes on my 69 Mustang from the 10" X 1 3/4" to the 11" X 2 1/4" rear brakes that was used on 80's era Crown Vic's & was wondering if the 14" 68/69 Mustang styled steel wheels will fit over the larger rear drums without rubbing?.

Thanks Stu. Today I sanded off the old paint on the rear housing & repainted it.

Today I removed the rear leaf spring shackle bushings in the frame rails & installed the new leaf springs & shackles.

Today I cut the l/s rear leaf spring front eyelet bolt & removed what was left of the l/s leaf spring.

Today after work I started working on removing the r/s rear leaf spring front eyelet bolt that was rusted in the bushing. Using a 4 1/2" cut off wheel on my angle grinder I cut off most of the leaf spring to get it out of my way & was able to cut off the bolt end that the nut screws on to but...

Saturday I had the differential rebuilt w/trac-loc, 3.50 gears, & new axle bearings installed by 8and9inchfordrears in southwestern NJ. Today I started cutting the front bolt for the r/s rear leaf springs.
