    humming noise

Great attitude Sarge :awesomework: some sounds are not so obvious, you wouldnt hear them on jack stands spinning the wheel with your hand, You need to be at normal operating speeds.

    O/R X or H pipe...

O/R X !!! If it gets to raspy, which it most likely will with a chambered muffler you can splice in some resonators and it will tame them a bit. Ive got Flows and a catted X on my '07 GT and it sounds incredible.

    humming noise

Vibration when braking often is caused by uneven rotors that need to be smoothed out. The hum may be caused because the rotor is making contact with the brake when the caliper is in the open position.

    What headers should I get?

O/R is much louder and makes the exhaust note more mean and dirty sounding, it frees up 10 (-/+) horses, it also smells funny. My Flows drone enough on the highway, i wouldnt go O/R if you car is mostly for cruising car.

    Lets talk mods.....A little Q&A.

Gears require a PRO install and a break in period, CAi/Tuner can be drive way installed and the Stang can be ready for action within an hour. Cams are generally done after the low hanging fruit has been picked off the tree, CAI/Tuner is a great starting mod that works even better as you add...

    Lets talk mods.....A little Q&A.

Cold Air & Hand held tuner with a Canned tune IS the best bang for the buck for a Stang. The CAI alone wont do much without a new tune but the combo should wake your pony up. Its an easy Install.

    Short Shifter...

Install is pretty simple, just nuts and bolts. The hardest part is getting the stock shifter out of the tunnel, you should be done in a n hour. Can be done on Jack stands but it would suck, i did it on a lift and it was fun.

    1991 Cobra?

I must be thinking the Cobra R numbers of production, dint know they made so many Cobra's in 93. I wonder why you see so few of the 93 Cobra's if the production number was fairly high. They have become the Holy Grail of Fox Boddies.

    watkins glen???? TODAY - 4/26/09

Re: watkins glen???? Do you guys know if you can run a convertible for this event? I wanted to some track runs with PDA (Performance Driving Assosiation) but they told me a need a 4 point roll cage in order to be eligable. Since this is a "Spirited" drive and not a race i was hoping i could do...

    Need help sizing wheels

Ive got 18"x9"'s all around, they have a 26mm off set, they stick out a bit but it looks mean, especially when lowered, ive got 275-40's on all 4's. The offset is meant for 99-04 but works great on S197's, no issues at all. larger number the offset, the more it will be tucked in to the fender...

    What headers should I get?

Im looking to do mine soon as well. From what ive heard Kooks is #1. I would NOT recomend Shorties because you wont make nearly as much power as you would with Long Tubes. You will need a header specific mid pipe if you go LT's. Since your FI, youd want to go the larger 1 3/4" primaries.

    Short Shifter...

MGW is great, smooth, quite, adjustable and over engineered. It even comes with dynamat to block road noise! I was originally set on the Tri-Axe but in the last moment i changed my mind and do not regret it 1 bit. This is my review of the MGW from another forum, its really LONG but it should...

Almost ready to crash into a wall!!

I had a very similair frustrating experience, granted it was a 93 t-Bird Super Coupe and it WAS a Mass air car. I changed SOOO many parts and took it to many shops, one of which was a Ford electronics expert and nothing! I decided to sell the car after 7 yrs of ownership, it was just getting...
