Don't use Pypes, they don't fit right. Otherwise there's not much difference in performance what ever you pick. The most important thing to do is get rid of the stock V6 muffler, it's very restrictive, only 1 3/4" interior diameter. After that what ever muffler and setup ( X, H, or Y ) you pick...

Just don't get any rotors that are made in China, they warp if you look at them funny. Buy OEM. or Raybestos make really good after mkt rotors.

Garbage, stay away.. I put them in my wife's PT Cruiser last summer cause the auto parts store around the block was out of Bendix Pads and they squealed like a stuck pig for months.

right the '90 is the first yr the 2.3 came std with EFI so so it shouldn't be that. Also try taking the fuel vapor line off the charcoal canister in the front RH fender, probably not that but easy enough to try, sometimes the canister clogs up and chokes the engine

Is the '90 2.3 still carbureted or is it FI?

That car's in very good shape.. Nice. You won't need an emissions test, historic or not, safety only. you could also put a set of the Liberty Plates on it since it's an '86
