Did you put a new tune in ? Did you go through the reset sequence ?

Same tune as prior years. Never had an issue before.

I have had some problems with this in the past, here they are -my old tuner shut of my ox-sensors and didn't tell me,the exhaust pipe in the rear burned through a wire that goes to the rear brake, over the winter the check engine light came on ,had it shut off at my inspection station, drove about 300 miles had it inspected , it passed, even though the EVAP monitor was still out. They tell me it will pass with 1 out. This year check engine light came on again, disconnected the battery to shut it off, hope it will pass after driving all summer, inspection not due until September. Hope all this helps !

Ya, I think I just have to keep driving it. I've heard there is no rhyme or reason to the sensors readying themselves. It's just a matter of them meeting all the conditions they need to meet to pass. I'm hoping after this weekend to have another 100 or so miles on it and go try it again.

Out of the 7200 mile I have on my Mustang, probably. an extra 1000 miles of it trying to click the monitors for NYS Inspection. I use more gas in my lawnmower in a year than my cars.

I've been doing some searching around and I think I may have found the issue. Apparently when you turn off the rear O2 sensors, that creates a cascade effect that wont allow your front O2, Oxygen Sensor, and Oxygen Heater Sensor to ready themselves properly. I am going to give it the weekend to see if another 100 or so miles can make them work. If not, I'll have to bite the bullet and return it to stock for a bit

Just curious, did you use American Muscle BAMA tunes? If you did, and have free tunes for life, you can request a tune that keeps the O2 sensors on, once you clear inspection, you can revert back to the other tune.

I do have Bama, and I already have tunes for a stock mid-pipe. It's just the hassle of swapping out exhaust i am trying to avoid.
