My 06 is hard to shift when cold too,1st and 2nd can be a bi--- sometimes. I am using Royal Purple oils so that be the reason. I wouldn't change the trans oil unless you have a lot of miles or it is smells funny somehow.

All manual cars shift harder when they are cold. Changing oils won't change this.

thanks, yeah those are the 2 that kill it for me when its cold. its dam annoying!

Happens to mine all the time. Just shift slower and within a few miles the tranny warms up enough for smooth shifts. My chevy cruze does the same thing as well as my old 2001 mustang.

I thought it might be the oil, i found it a bit annoyingly weird because. i dont remember my 2001 Gt (R.I.P) having that issue :/. and my brothers G37 doesnt do that neither.

I think you have to be running some serious HP before changing out transmission oil will increase your RWHP. I don't think a stock GT will see any difference. But I could be wrong.
