A real cop would have given you the ticket, and another for no front plate. I just installed the Show and Go plate holder last week, had to make a custom bracket to install it. My inspection is out too, maybe next week. I saw the Show and Go installed on a grill like yours, it comes right out of the grill. I had to put mine underneath.
