redlawyers??? Eh? I test drove a PP EcoBoost Auto and it was very fast. The toggle switch to change to Sport mode changed the dynamics of the transmission the most. I was impressed, and I would purchase one without a doubt. Getting back into my '14 6spd, it felt sluggish LOL
stringtheoryI've only driven the GT with PP. It was a measureable increase in handling, steering, and comfort. There seems to be a lot of buzz regarding the EcoBoost and how well it responds to tunes, exhaust, and CAI.
On Edge^^ thanks for the input. Thats why i noted i didn't change any of the settings
On EdgeWhere was the toggle to put it into sport mode? I will go for another test drive. People ask why the ecoboost ... because the 5k difference would go towards a convertible. Ideally, gt 5.0 convertible automatic PP would be an awesome ride... but at 46k.
ROUSH 4The car is selling very well. Still its all about preference. Tuned 4 's are putting up some sweet numbers on the quarter mile. I like the 4 , it has much more performance options than my GT.
On EdgeAbsolutely. I saw a video of a tuned 4 going 12
On EdgeGoing 12.6. Granted under optimal conditions. But i knew i was doing something wrong in my test drive when it felt sluggy.
redlawyersThe toggle for sport mode is located in the line of switches in front of the shifter. It's the last one on the right. To its left is the steering mode.
ElmosGotBeef'12because they're killing the V6. You either get 4 or 8 cylinders now, no inbetween!
