I like the idea of an Eco4, those little engines are truly a technical marvel and what better car to add it to then a Mustang. It makes a whole lot of sense to add it too, first Ford has to comply with new regulations on fuel economy, this should help the Mustang live through rather then what happen in the mid-late 70's, another big deal is that this car is global, V6 and V8 are fine and dandy for the US, but Europe or Asia you need that 4 cylinder option or you wont move the metal the way Ford wants to. Remember these cars are being export from Flat Rock so makes a lot of sense to offer it in the US.

I cant wait to get a new 15 with the eco boost... that will be an awesome daily driver... You cant hate of a 4 banger... they used to have them back in the 80s... If u are looking at it from the aspect of a muscle thing.. then the 6ers should not be on the roads as well... just my 2 cents..
