What happened?

They sent me a letter today dating back on February 8th when we had a snow storm. Around 1am, and 10am they fined me twice and gave me 2 pentalites, which I was never informed of. And its stating that I was in violation for being parked on the street during a storm. This was something I was never informed was illegal. No notices, notes, knock on the door, nothing until today's letter in the mail. No signs on the street indicating this either. And I've only lived here for a year, so I never knew about this being illegal. And I share a parking driveway area, which is always full, so I've always parked on the street. Its a back street at that. So they are expecting me to pay these big ass fines. I wrote them about it though. I'm not paying for shit that I was never notified about in any way. The plow guy could have easily knocked on my door, but he failed to let me know in any way whatsoever. So fuck them. My car is financed so they can try to revoke my registration, but it won't happen because the bank will fight it then, because banks require cars that are still being financed to be registered and insured. That was the only thing they stated for not paying, so I'm not too worried. We will see what they say though. I still think not giving a warning of any kind is highly unfair.

Yea its total bullshit. And why take so long to even notifiy me? You know? Over a month later before hearing anything. I was clueless up until today. If I had known it was illegal I would've moved my car. Everyone always parks on the streets here, so its not like I knew about it or like its public knowledge for the unknowing. In Queensbury where I use to live, they have signs on specific streets indicating this. So with all the money these bastards make off of tourists they can afford a few fucking signs. Probably a local government type of scam to get money out of the people who are unaware of their bullshit tactics.

More like they wanna continue to rape the tax payers. Its a NY thing. They always wanna up the money we pay on everything. NY taxes are some of the worst besides Cali.

Yea southern folks are def more respectful no doubt about that. Most people down south say new yorkers are assholes and rude. He confirms that statement.
