it is ridiculously raspy. With the sorest throat I've ever had, this is the raspiest sound I've ever heard. I love it, but as soon as I hit, 2k rpms, it screams. I definitely need a muffler'd catback now.

All catbacks have mufflers lol. You just need to go with a chambered style instead of straight through. So look into Flowmaster, Mac, etc. Avoid SLP, Borla, etc. Just look at the mufflers in the catback system, and you can tell which are which. Straight through are usually just round and long, only slightly bigger than the actual piping. The chambered mufflers are usually a bigger flat like oval shape. You'll see what I mean when you start looking. :-)

I already started looking and saw the difference. and when I said that I need a catback with mufflers, I said it because the guy i bought my car from had the mufflers cut out, so my car at the moment has no mufflers. lol it sounded great with the stock midpipe, now it just sounds obnoxious with the new midpipe.

Oh ok lol. Yea you'll want mufflers. Kind of hard to pass inspections with out them. :)

I've had no problems passing without them. no biggie.

Yea but you won't pass a visual lol. At least not with cops, but thankfully they don't usually get down to look under your car. If they smell gas they might, but otherwise your good. Just don't ever remove the cats lol.

yeah man. I def won't pass a visual but I'll pass emissions. I dont doubt I'll get more cops attention with my new x. Its so loud. I hope my car doesn't smell gassy now.
