Hey all--when i put the car in drive, the mph needle jumps back and forth from 0 to around 30 mph. also air bag light is on when running. any solutions? its a 1991 5.0 notch with only 65,000 on body and motor.all stock 100%

I have a 2000 gt 4.6. When i get on it, it slips. 2nd and 3rd gear pretty bad. The motor is stock with bolt ons and an aftermarket clutch, cable and quadrant. A dealer put in i think a stage 2 but probably did not reface the flywheel but dont know. I used to leave a good patch but now i got 10.5...
