I feel your pain. I have to replace the clutch again. Ugh.

Talk about another wreck fest!! Ugh, every unlimited for the last how ever many years has been the same way. I'm guessing the duels will be the same way.

Yeah, that would work too. 3" exhaust? I can't wait to hear that. On the corral you can sometimes find good deals on heads. I picked up my track heat 170s for $800 a few years ago. They were in great shape too.

Depends on how much you want to spend. Haha. Personally, I am a fan of Trickflow. A set of fast as cast 190s, or the pricey 11Rs would work well. For the intake, either a Holley Systemax, or Edelbrock RPM2. Or if you plan on spinning it higher, then an Edelbrock Victor.

Nice. I'm a fan of the '82 GTs! Any plans for some aluminum heads? Or future mods?

Spec stage 1 clutch and billet FW

The centerforce df clutch is a good one too. That setup should work well for you, do you have a firewall adjuster and an aftermarket quadrant? Getting some track time is always fun to do as long as nothing breaks! Hahaha. Hmm, I wouldn't know about the car meets down there, I imagine in the...

Spec stage 1 clutch and billet FW

I don't see any issues with a billet steel flywheel, I picked one up from Ford Racing, it was around $220 if I remember correctly. The clutch on the other hand, I can't help you out too much. It sounds like Spec clutches are either a love it or hate it clutch, I personally have never used them...

Out of the ashes, a Phoenix is born (Boss 302 teardown and rebuild)

Ugh, that really sucks! That is just ridiculous to have to go through all of that after only 18k miles. If there is a bright side to this, at least you will be starting at a clean slate and can do a few mods.

The pace car was nice. Yeah, I like a few Chevys, but I have rooted for Harvick since 2001. They definitely made the last race interesting with their new format. Not that I totally agree with it.

You are right on that Chris! I never really had an outdoor winter hobby, but now I do so winter shouldn't be too bad! Haha. Yeah we definitely put our cars away at the right time. It snowed the day after I put mine away.

I agree with these guys, talk to Doug and see what his ideas are for you. He is pretty well versed in the sbf! It is true that the weak point is the block. Really depends on your goals though.
