Pray for Haiti

As much as we complain about cold, snow, rain and everything else... Images this morning on ABC News almost had me in tears. Here's some footage and some of it was gut wrenching, at least for me.

I'm a wimp and had to turn away from some of the images, if it's any indication. Most of it isn't too bad but it's a bit graphic w/ people lying dead, crushed by rubble. :idk:

poor fellas. that is a horrible situation. we are fortunate that all are drastic weather is snow and extreme cold. And we build for that.

Thoughts and Prayers, one of our own Chefs in the kitchen, that is where is family lives and he does fundraising up here for them... It's a tragedy. The only good thing they said this morning on the news is that the airport had no damage that would stop planes from dropping off much needed supplies of all kinds today. So that is a positive step for them.

We have been very busy at work today since early morning doing intense coverage on this tragedy in Haiti, our offices along with our communications facilities have been destroyed, but we, along with other organizations and countries are doing what we can to provide support.

The devastation of people's homes, coupled with their screams of emotional pain as their family and friends are injured, laying on the streets bleeding or, worse yet, they learn that their families are missing, presumably dead... It's hard to watch. :idk: I guess it's a matter of perspective.

Of course your co-worker and family are in my thoughts and prayers, everyone touched by this nightmare are. I watched hours of it tonight and it is truly a hell I never saw before. Everyone needs to have them in our thoughts they need A LOT of help...

^^Yup.^^ I believe yesterday Yele.org got about $400,000 in donations! That's awesome. Wyclef is originally from Haiti and first coined the term 'Yele' in a song and means "a cry for freedom."

Or text 'Haiti' to 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross, again this will show up on your next phone bill as well.
