Recently retired & moved out of state. Nice meeting you at shows over the years. Not active anymore on NYM.
Is there anyone here any more. It once was a great site now it's dead. What happen?

In it's heyday it was pretty active on here, I almost forgot that there even was a monthly contest, wonder if the store still takes orders even.

That sucks. He was a good guy. It’s too bad about this site. TBapp3 and I used to have weekly meets here in Queensbury. Had 40ish cars together some nights. It would be nice to have more people come here. But honestly I’m surprised there were even this many members left to respond to this.

Could just blame it on Trump- like they do all the other bad stuff !
HAHA once again this dumb car lets me down, this time start the car to hear an awkward noise and open the hood to watch the damn thing just spit the serpentine belt out...
Well my car runs on Android now, Ford Alternators are total junk, and seems once I fix something, I find another thing that breaks... think this car is nearing it's end.

For the everyday person looking for an everyday car, it's pretty much on the dot, the one I picked up I twas a middle level trim, it had blindspot monitoring which I found a little inconsistent, seemed to only alert you under very certain conditions, Android Auto I want to say was nice but my phone actually soured the experience so much I actually ditched it days after getting home pretty much ending 11+ years of BlackBerry ownership. One thing I didn't use but really liked was the cargo shelf system where you can use the cover and put it into grooves to create a shelf, pretty useful and can double as a cargo cover. One little annoyance was the automatic tailgate, some times when you press the tailgate button, it had a tendency to open then close which had me pressing it a few times while my companions weren't finding it funny. Overall it's a solid car, with respectable mpg, and a lot of value for your money. As for Iceland, I think he went in the better part of the year, seems winter is a bit crazy, but I read November is best to get the Northern Lights, and just for that I ended up investing in some decent lenses finally. Really hoping to get some nice photos, especially going to try and beat the quality of those from my last Japan trip.

It seems pricey but consider that's also the range for Explorers, Expeditions, Tahoes, and Grand Cherokees, think the F-150 and Silverado can be had at over 80k it seems the run of the mill cars have gotten so expensive it's made these luxury SUVs seem like a bargain actually. Top end price for Escalades and Navigators just cross the $100k mark, when I worked at FoMoCo was the Ford GT and looking at the used market damn was it a bargain when it was new (heard stories that the dealer adjustments killed off early buyers, and eventually ended up forcing dealers to sell cars way below sticker).
