I have stock 195/70/14 tires and am going to replace them with 225/60/15 tires and new wheels. Do I have to change the speedo gearin the trans? 1984 ,5 speed

I dont think it will really be off so bad, I would prob just deal with it...But then again that is just me!

Try this tire size calculator: http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp
it will give you a guide so you can keep the stock diameter and will not have to do a speedo gear change

You will need to get a speedo gear with 1 less tooth to correct! ...Personally, I wouldn't worry about it!
