I want to get as much hp as possible without spending a crap ton of money,im hoping i can get into mid to high 200s but this a long project as i have a lot of bills. i haven't seen a lot of v6 superchargers or turbos. i will be puttting a cold air intake, throttle body, fuel injectors, a whole exhaust sysyem including cats and new pipes, and shorty headers. then a tune after that. itll probably take close to a year just to get that stuff. depending how much a sc is and how much upgrading is it could take a few years to uprgade and get a sc or a turbo.
high 200's you can do with a stock longblock.
Do full exhaust- longtube headers, and the catback. Skip shortys, they dont flow much better than the stock logs. Similarly, skip the throttle body, injectors, and CAI (unless you want the look). A good Vortech or Procharger are the easiest to install, and will net you mid-high 200's off the bat with the right tune.
If you are stock now, here is what I would do-
-Tune (DO NOT USE BAMATUNES. Get a tuner through Justin at VMP)
-Exhaust. True catback, or go with longtubes.
-Get an 8.8 rear from a GT/mach one. Gets you a trac-lok, and you can swap in some gears at the same time.
-Either supercharger (Vortech, procharger, M112) or a SSM Powerpack.
How handy are you?
