i`m just gonna wash the bumper off cuz i`m not washing/waxing the car untill July 18th to have it clean for the cruise... and i`m low on cash i don`t wanna go waste money on car wash. i suppose a bottle of water and a wet sponge could wash off some of those scratches

spend moneY?..... dude wash the car yourself, and it doesnt hurt to wax it more than once you should wash n wax it and wash and wax it again for the cruise

I don`t have a place to wash the car my superintended was acting mad stupid about it and i don`t wanna fight with him cuz i need him.. i use his stringing machine to string my tennis racquets ( that machine costs like 1 g at least ). I`ll figure it out :D

Clean the chip with alcohol and hit it a some light coats of touch up paint, then use some rubbing compound or scratch remover on it and the other scratches. The peripheral stuff doesn't look too deep. You should be able to clean up most of it.

And don't wipe it down with just water and a sponge, you need soap to keep the grit and dirt from scratching more

Hey Resvon...there is a coin operated car wash....exit 32S off of the Southern State...if you go in the late evening...9PM...10PM....you'll have the whole place to yourself where you can wash and wax your vehicle....just be aware that it isn't THE greatest neighborhood in the world....but you're a guy....

Get off the exit....bearing right....make a right at the gas station...and it is right behind the gas station....there is also a smaller scale coin operated car wash at the BP gas station on 20th Avenue in College Point....a few blocks before College Point Boulevard...and right next to a Car Wash business

where is he gonna get a hose from?....the building.....super is in charge of that...Resvon...if you use the coin operated car wash...rinse the foam brush before you use it.....can have the dirt stuck in it from previous cars

yeah, but.....he probably has to tie into the basement slop sink....and probably the super ONLY has access to it...believe me..living in an apartment makes it HARD to wash vehicles....I'm in a condo...will be getting my parking spot in August...BUT there is no way I will be allowed to wash my car in the parking lot

Wish I thought about this more when I bought three years ago...lol

Lol yeah it`s hard to wash the car yourself if you live in an apartment.

I could do this. Get 2 buckets. And start washing the car 1 piece at a time. Roof, Fender, Bumpers, Doors.. 1 at a time :) This way i`ll do one hell of a job too :rock:
