Need help! r134a leaking

So After having the Long Tube headers installed I noticed one of the hoses was melted and leaking. I have found the replacement part Motorcraft YF2847. Now my questions are:

1. Will I damage anything by driving the vehicle? I'm pretty sure all the r134 has leaked out all ready.

2. How do I replace this part?

You wont hurt anything as the compressor wont run because of a low pressure cut out switch will open w/o refrigerant in system.

You need the system evacuated of air & non-condensables before adding the refrigerant (R134a). Id do it for you if you were closer.
