I was told that 3rd gear was bad

I took a T5 apart tonight that I bought for $75 close to a year ago that I was told "needed the front bearing and 3rd gear". Here's what's inside...

You guys think it's rebuildable? I don't think I lost that much having only bought it for $75 if it is garbage....

Definitely killed 3rd. You need at a minimum 3rd gear,cluster gear, and steel bearing retainer along with a rebuild kit. I'd have to look at it to tell if anything else is damaged but look real close at the forks and make sure they are not cracked.

I looked it over pretty good and that's really the worst of it. Couldn't find any cracks anywhere else and there weren't any in the casing itself either since it's had fluid in it since apparently when it was taken out.
