ok i may not have to replace the oil pan i punched the hole a little bigger then i re tapped it and use a bigger fitting but even tho there is a very very small gap between the pan and fitting ......WHAT CAN I USE TO SEAL THAT TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO LEAKS
ok after letting it idle for a while the drain is leaking just a tiny bit ...so i turn the car off i try to start the car again and it wont start it will turn over but wont starts ....???
its really dark out .....my friend is saying it might be the gass to we are going to buy some gas tomorrow
When you tapped the oil pan for the oil drain, did you make sure you didn't get any filings into the oil pan? I know the oil pickup probably has a screen, but you don't want that getting clogged with filings.
yea i took a small magnet and played around for like one hour till i made sure there was no more metal inside of the pan.........there wasnt really alot to begin with i used grease when i punched and tapped the pan soo the grease caught most of it
