Today I installed the hydraulic clutch system master cylinder & the under dash linkage to the pedal, & then reinstalled the brake booster & master cyl.
Thanks Bruce. Yesterday I made a small L bracket & painted it black. Today I mounted the L bracket to the flange where the cowl & the firewall are welded together cut the hose to length & mounted the fluid reservoir to the L bracket.
Thanks Stu, it is getting there. Earlier in the week I ordered the electric dual cooling fan assembly from a Ford Contour which fits my 24" radiator perfectly, I just need to trim off the stock mounting tabs & use some angle aluminum to mount the fan assembly to my stock radiator. I received the fan assembly yesterday & when I opened up the box a piece fell out, which turns out to be one of the mounting tabs (which I was going to trim off anyway) & there is a piece about a 1" piece that is broken out of the shroud. I e-mailed the company I purchased it from & told them there was no packing. They are opening up a discrepancy report which can take 1-2 days & are addressing the packing problem so when they send me a replacement this does not happen again.
I got an e-mail yesterday from the company I purchased the dual electric cooling fan assembly from & they are going to send me another cooling fan assembly to replace the damaged one I received.
Friday I received the replacement cooling fan assembly. Today to try to keep my mind off of our departed pup I spent a few hours out in the garage today. I made the mounting brackets for the fan assembly & mounted it to the radiator.
Thank you. I am starting to order some misc parts that are not included in the AAW wiring harness. I ordered a Ford inertia switch, & RL44 relay, for the electric fuel pump for the EFI system, Jegs #- 10570 temp controlled dual fan wiring harness & relay kit, new starter solenoid, & I already received the pigtails for the dual cooling fans. All I have to do now is order the AAW #- 510177 classic update series wiring harness kit. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/aww-510177
I came across a Polaroid pic (before we had a digital camera) of my 69 Coupe a few months after I got it, before I started working on it. Not much there.
Before;
Thanks Stu. Yesterday I installed the horns, & started test fitting the metal trunk divider panel. Now I have to figure out where I want to mount the cooling fan & electric fuel pump relays.
