go with lowering springs. i've liked my ford motorsport C-springs, decent performance without degraded ride. the spring is short enough to install without a spring compressor. rear disc brakes provide a much solid/firm pedal feel, if you can swing it, i'd recommend it. use an impact wrench...

Looking good! +1 though not sure how big of deal it is and/or how you would adjust for this. I have the PCV hooked up as normal and the valve cover breathers plumbed together to the supercharger inlet downstream of the mass air meter.

almost embarrassed for not checking this more thoroughly 6 years ago when the motor went together but piston looks to be about 0.009 out of the hole with a 0.040 compressed gasket thickness giving me a compression ratio of 9.9:1 . . . .go figure
