Keep an eye on an Explorer upper and lower intake as they are pretty close to Cobra intakes also, definitely upgrade the stock E7 heads.....95-early97 Explorers had GT40 heads and the later97 up Explorers had GT40P heads. If you need to keep the emissions stuff, the P heads won't work for you...

Never heard of anyone using exhaust designed for an IRS set of using a solid rear.....don't think it would work unless you just put on GT tails or dumped it.

No it won't work, you need a GT/Mach 1 exhaust for the axle hump.
