low milage never captivated me as with numbers matching.its a car and i will enjoy it. hell i put 8k on the merkur in 4 months. but im different.i even mix and match manufactures in one car.
yup just smaller bore and some argue better rods. many said the vic jr intake i had wouldnt have any torque ha pulled 6th from 35 mph and barked at 80 going into 3 rd. loved that intake.
500 whp is over 600 crank.im not worried lotta internet experts over on ls1 tech.find most to be idiots.not really going for any number.just boost to 10-12 and call it a day.and there are many 5.3 at 600 rwhp and going strong after a few years now.

.96 ex a/r. easy fellers im in no competition with anyone just my goals for now. seen stock 5.3 with a zo6 cam and 16 # boost hit 600 rwhp . and power without control is a dyno queen anyway.
