Well finally got that Mustang working some what, pretty much had to redo all the pulleys. Now need to find out what causing that stupid idle rattle, why I can't fill gas in the thing, and why does this new alternator keep peaking to 15V (maybe because it's new). any how here's some Iceland photos better late than never: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Dbf2TVktAYcjqqLn6
HAHA once again this dumb car lets me down, this time start the car to hear an awkward noise and open the hood to watch the damn thing just spit the serpentine belt out...
Well my car runs on Android now, Ford Alternators are total junk, and seems once I fix something, I find another thing that breaks... think this car is nearing it's end.
Just got my car back from RealSpeed, and honestly want to thank them for really doing an awesome job. Car handles like a beauty you can feel ever road pit in your butt and spine, Steeda is serious stuff, but nothing beats being stuck in traffic next to a Testarossa and you being the loud one with the PYPES exhaust!
So update on ordering from NorthCoast Performance, wasn't bad at all got my FCA without a hitch, ordered them late night Friday after work showed up a week later. Only complaint was lack of communication only email I got was order confirmation but that's all, had to keep going back to the site to track the order.
Here's a funny story, found great deal on the M3075E FCA through Amazon Warehouse, when they arrive they didn't look correct, I feel that who ever returned these pulled a fast one on Amazon and swapped them with cheap/bad FCA. Did a Google search to see maybe I'm wrong and missed something, one FCA seemed similar to a 302S FCA but with 18MM blue ball joint. Find a post on Mustang source with my same problem, actually it was identical, he also ordered from Amazon but as a NIB. He says he returned them, but looks like amazon instead put them back into stock under warehouse deals and I was the sucker who bought it LOL Well my return is all setup so lesson learned, oh well was worth a try either I got an amazing deal on FCA or I take a short trip to UPS to drop them off, unfortunately it was the latter.
So last last few hours of my road trip to San Francisco, I booked a 2014 Challenger R/T and honestly glad I did. The room and comfort was on par with a full size sedan but in a 2 door coupe. I honestly enjoyed driving it the last 10 days and will miss it. This is a Mustang club but it's important to know the other guys and hope the other guys build an awesome car, why because keeps Ford from getting lazy and keeps things exciting and we as drivers win. If you are looking for a fun road trip coupe I suggest calling Avis and trying out a Challenger. Now I need to test drive a 2015 Mustang to restore the faith.
Anyone have the Raxiom 2010 Style Smoked Headlights for 05-09? Just want to know how the quality of brightness is compared to stock H13 lights. Also since these use the H9 bulb which is single filament, how does the high/low beam work?
