WOW this website got a heck of an update and it looks incredible! I am back and once again coordinating for car shows. Instead of coordinating for this website, I will now be the head of coordinating annual car shows for the non-profit organization for "New Ground". New Ground provides housing, education and career development programs to homeless veterans and families across LI. Will post more shortly!
Hi all, bittersweet news: Elmira is gone. Traded her in for a 2017 Volkswagen GTI S. Dealer in Philly gave me a very solid deal and came out great once everything was over. Although I LOVE the GTI, I was driving it on ocean pkwy yesterday and two mustangs came screaming down the highway. After that, the want for a loud V8 returned to my system (although I have the ability to put nearly 400HP into the GTI with some other really great add ons). So even though I have this lovely vehicle now, I will eventually return to my roots in the future. This all being said, I'd like to take the time to say thank you to the NYM members. Since I've had the Mustang and joined the club I have received nothing but limitless knowledge and kindness and I will forever appreciate what this club offers. I also realize that I haven't been on here lately while I still have the responsibility to coordinate meets. So at this point, I would like to resign from my position so that I can give the opportunity to someone that may propel our group to a new level of success.
Hey all, hate to say it but I'm looking to sell Elmira. She's been fun but I need to get something more practical for work. If you know anyone that is interested in buying the car, let me know. She currently has 96K in mileage.
