Is It worth it?

hey guys i was looking around at different options of work to do to my car, is it worth it to get a supercharger, i wanna beef up my car a supercharger is the best i feel, but if i wanted to sell the car down the line (looking to get a newer model) would it hold its value, and what in your opinion is the best supercharger out there?

If you supercharge it, just keep your stock parts. It wouldn't take anything to return it to stock. Then all you would have to do is reload the stock tune and sell it. You can sell the supercharger seperate. You might find someone who wants to buy your car with the SC. I think you will be fine.

it depends on what you are looking for really. Kenne bell and whipple are great for daily drivers as they make their power at lower RPMs. centrifugal type S/C's make theirs at a higher RPM range

I've had 15 lbs of boost on a stock bottomed 2 valve and it lived a long time, just don't overrev it. The stockers are stronger than most give them credit for. Where in southern NY are you located?

as far as i know mods don't worth its value, when it comes to sale. so if you want to get a better car to work on, wait till you get it, and leave this one n/a

My bro on his 01GT and a Procharger Stage 3 with inter-cooler, he run 11.5psi of boost on the stock engine, his makes 395rwhp and 400plus rwt true a stick 3650, it's all in the tune

see like i love the car i got and its still young with 44,xxx miles on it, but idk if i want to sell it this might be the car i stick with for a long time, its like a summer car i only take it out april to october, and the other times i just drive my beater, how is it driving a supercharged mustang is it worth the money cause they are very expensive, and i was also thinking about a turbo kit, whats better to get a turbo or supercharger, i read a couple of articles but id rather go with what people say, thanks again for the help

If your looking at a KB get the 2.1 kit. Its a complete kit that will run you around $5600 and you can do it yourself. I'll even help you out with doing it since i did mine. Its pretty easy if you just follow the instructions.
