What's up all it's me again with another question. On my 2008 Roush 428R, on the front brake caliper the (Roush) logo is fading away???? Is this due to the previous owner using a harsh chemical to clean the tires and wheels???? Or is this something that's inevitable to happen.
If you have heard of this issue please respond back. Also what can I do??? Do I have to get them repainted???
I'm not sure, but my wild guess is the combination of salt/brake dust and heat. It's just paint so depending on how much your car has been driven before you it may or may not be the cause. After almost 5 years of service i little fade is unfortunate but possible.
I would just get them refinished (with powder-coating) and they will look brand new again.
